It's taken some time, but I finally worked out some interesting new features in my DateChooser script. Have a look at the DateChooser project page for details on what I've done.

Also note, I've changed the license to CC Attribution 2.0. As long as I get credit, feel free to use and/or modify the javascript code any way you like.
